Recent Initiatives:

1.Minimum attendance requirement of 75% made mandatory w.e.f. 2011-12

2.Academic progress monitoring in each subject in terms of classes engaged, classes attended and syllabus covered initiated w.e.f. 2011-12

3.An interaction meeting of senior Professors of NIT, Kurukshetra with Prof. Suresh Rai (a Scientist of international repute) Computer Engg. Deptt. Louisiana State University, USA, was organized to promote inter-university research interaction on 27th July, 2011.

4.An interaction meeting of Dr.S.K Rastogi from DRDO with senior HODs and Deans of NIT, Kurukshetra was organized to explore the possibility of research collaboration with DRDO

5. To maintain pollution free environment in the Institute, movement of motor vehicles inside the institute restricted by providing suitable parking place w.e.f. 2011-12.
