TENDER NOTICE

                        Sealed tenders on the prescribed format are invited from the agencies possessing valid registration certification under the relevant Rules/Regulations/Statutes and having experience in satisfactory supply of the services in an Educational Institute for providing; 1) Security Service, 2) Maintenance Services (Estate, Electrical, horticulture & public health etc.) and 3) Sanitation Services in the NIT Kurukshetra (Campus, Departments, Offices and hostels) for a period of 01 year on contract basis.

                        The payment to the persons so engaged at the minimum rates fixed by District Administration will have to be ensured by the concerned Contractor. The rates quoted for the services offered shall have to be all inclusive. All statutory requirements (ESI, EPF and Service Tax etc.) applicable from time to time are to be borne by the concerned Service Provider. Tender forms along with terms and conditions can be had from the General Section, National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra from 27.01.2010 to 19.02.2010 on all working days from 10:00 a.m. to 01:00 p.m. on cash payment of Rs. 1,000/- (Non-refundable) for each service. However, the tender form alongwith the detailed terms and conditions are also available on our website www.nitkkr.ac.in.

                        Service Providers may submit their bids in a sealed cover on the prescribed format (separate for each service) by 26.02.2010 upto 3:00 p.m. to the Deputy Registrar (GA & Legal), NIT Kurukshetra alongwith Security of Rs. 1,00,000/- in the form of bank draft drawn in favour of the Director, National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, payable at Kurukshetra. Late and incomplete tenders will be summarily rejected. The bids will be opened on 26.02.2010 at 3:30 p.m. in the office of the undersigned in presence of Service Providers who wish to be present. The Institute reserves the right to reject any tender without assigning any reason. Before submitting the tender, the service providers may visit the Institute and contact Dean (Estate, Construction and Electrical Maintenance) for calculating the number of persons required for the above services.
