Infrastructure society launches the mega event PHEONIX'2010. The website has been fully updated. The problem statements,rules and regulations and contact details of various events have been uploaded. The aryans will rock the NITK floor with their fabulous performnace.

1.Concrete is the building block of the civil engineering structures.

2.Design Concrete Mix with maximum strength limiting the cement usage to 5 kg only.

3.Cast your concrete cubes using C-43 grade cement of specified strength.

4.Get the proportions of cement and aggregates right to build the strongest blocks.

5.Cast 3 cubes of size 150*150*150mm with a curing of 5 days.

6.The event will be conducted in two stages. In the first stage, participating teams have to cast concrete cubes according to the above mentioned specifications.

7.5 days from the cube casting stage, the strength of the various cubes will be measured and checked, which stands as the criteria for judgement.

Preference basis for slot allotment : "First come First serve"

Only 10 teams are allowed to participate.

1. Maximum 4 members per team. Student from different colleges can form a team.

2. Last date for registration extended till April 18, 2010 by 12 noon.

3. No Registration Fees

4. 24 hours after casting the cube, the respective teams are supposed to open their moulds and put them in water for curing. Teams which fail to do so will be treated as disqualified.
