Infrastructure society launches the mega event PHEONIX'2010. The website has been fully updated. The problem statements,rules and regulations and contact details of various events have been uploaded. The aryans will rock the NITK floor with their fabulous performnace.

The event sets a platform for budding engineers to prove their mettle outside the technical world. Smart Engineers need to be Smart Managers. So here's an event to showcase your talent and bring about new and original ideas on screen on topics that relate not technology but the function of the world around..

The suggested topics for the paper presentation are:

1. The mystery of 2012: Life or Death

2. Global Warming: Shall we die of heat or drown in blue?

3. Commonwealth Games 2010: Is India Ready?

4. Sales and Marketing: Turning customer satisfaction to customer loyalty

5. IPL: Encouraging Indian Sports or a Money minded game

6. Sania Shoaib Wedding vs Indo Pak Relations

7. The Indian Budget 2010: Pros and cons

8. Women's Reservation Bill: Women empowerment or gender biasing

9. Youth on drugs: what lies in future?

10. Indian Education Policy: Does it need a change?

 

Students can also present topics other than these in field of economy and other current topics.

  1. The short listing shall be done on the basis of an abstract of the topic to be presented.
  2. Abstract should be limited to 300 words and it should give an appropriate idea of what the topic of presentation is all about and what shall be the frame of the presentation.
  3. The abstract should be mailed to infra.nitkkr@gmail.com latest by 2400 hrs, Apr'20, 2010.
  4. The subject of the mail is to be kept as "Abstract for Crossedge".
  5. The selected entries shall be informed within a day after the final day of submission and thereafter a detailed report of the presentation in IEEE format has to be mailed to the same ID latest by Apr 22, 2010.

  7. The number of pages must not exceed 10 including the cover page.
  8. Three hard copies of the report should also be submitted to the coordinator 3 hrs before the presentation.
